Recharge your batteries and enjoy peace and quiet, overlooking the beautiful Sognefjorden in our new Bungalow. Sleeps 4, but we recommend it for 2 people. Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

The cabin "Sundestova" in Øygarden

Welcome to Sundestova, our magical cabin at Hellesøy! Here you can really enjoy the peace and relaxation in scenic surroundings. Great hiking opportunities. Gløvro is especially recommended, where you can explore beautiful landscapes and enjoy fresh air. There are also good fishing opportunities both near the cabin and in the area in general. The cabin has a lovely patio with a fire pit, egg chair and seating area. Relax under the open sky and enjoy pleasant moments around the fire. We have extra chairs available in the storage room.

A fantastic holiday home by the lake on idyllic Herdla, only a 40-minute drive from Bergen. A holiday paradise with outstanding nature where you can experience both lake, sea, outdoor areas, war history and wildlife. If you are lucky, you will also spot sea eagles, or the northern lights in the sky in the winter months. Possibility to rent kayak, SUP board, golf & fishing equipment. Herdla offers beaches, a golf course and a frisbee golf course. The area is a paradise for windsurfing, paddling, diving, fishing and water sports.

The sunset is spectacular in winter, while in the long, bright summer evenings you can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in and outside the Birdbox. Bergen Birdbox is located on the pasture of Øvre Haukås Gård, where sheep graze all year round. In spring you can be lucky and experience panoramic views of the lambing.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

We are now back online after a maintenance-related outage. Spectacular views from Birdbox, perched atop Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When the wind blows over the sea, you can see white sea spray rising up over the islets and skerries all the way west to Løno. You can get here by boat or kayak. Countryhouse 35 min from Bergen city-senter. The house is located in Askøy in beautiful nature by the sea. It has its own dock and a wonderful garden. It is fully furnished with all the equipment you need for everyday use. You are free to use a rowingboat with a small motor, perfect for fishing or for just chilling on the sea. Bring your own fishing gear. Only a five min. walk will take you to the woods where you can walk and enjoy the peaceful nature and clean air.
