This magnificent former Shepherd's Lodge, with origins dating back to 1891, dominates its hillside with views of the mountain peaks and its lush valley with meandering river below. Located less than 30 mintues from the town of Nay where everything is available and an hour from the cities of Pau, Lourdes and Tarbes. This lovely home is at the foot of the Pyrenees ski resorts with all the activities they offer, biking, hiking, climbing, canyoning, horse riding to name a few.

Within the eco-friendly "La Colline aux Chevreuils", located on the heights of Volvestre facing the Pyrenees, less than an hour from Toulouse. La Cabane du Chevreuil welcomes you to a 4 ha permaculture site for a comfortable, exotic and informative stay in the heart of nature. Optionally in the evening, a platter of 10 varieties of farm cheeses will be served in the cabin or outside to admire the sunset accompanied by salad and wine as well as gourmet homemade desserts.

Gorgeous Gypsy wagon in Montbrun Bocage.

This wagon, or roulotte in French, started life as a roadside workers wagon in Belgium, and has now been fully converted into a gorgeous self contained living space. It has a fully functional kitchen, wood burner, electric radiator, double bed, and cosy table area. There is coffee, various teas ,sugar, basic herbs and spices and cooking oil in the wagon. You will have full access to la Grangette (communal performance space) and the outside covered kitchen.

The Chiroulet Cabin

This shepherd's hut is located in the wild valley of Lesponne, at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and in the international starry sky reserve. Authentic and intimate, it offers an ideal setting to unwind. The hut, rebuilt with traditional techniques, includes a bedroom, open kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom and separate toilet. Nature activities, barbecue, games and binoculars. Access via a weather-dependent road.

Nichée au fond d’un jardin verdoyant et ombragé, la petite maison rouge de Côté Corbières est un véritable coin de paradis qui vous accueille en plein cœur du Pays Cathare. Avec ses planchers en bois ancien, ses vieilles tomettes du 18ᵉ, ses poutres anciennes et ses murs de chaux, elle offre une atmosphère chaleureuse et authentique. Old shepherd's hut, Basque Country

Come and get away to our cottage above the village of Lecumberry. You'll have a simple time in nature. Our cottage is located in a cul-de-sac, coming by a paved road, on a low mountain in the heart of the Basque country. Iraty and its forest can be reached in half an hour to enjoy the views and hiking trails. Spain is also easily accessible in half an hour. Electricity comes with a solar panel.
