Nemo's Corner

We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

Janela do Porto - the Atlantic Ocean inside the house

A window facing the sea and back on the slopes of the north coast of Pico Island. Sitting in the armchair, I set my gaze on São Jorge lying in the distance. At the foot of the house, the sea ripples like a purring cat. I close my eyes and smile, I found paradise... Old fishing cellar completely rebuilt in the first row facing the sea. The view is incredible, starting with the morning sunrise. It accommodates up to 6 people (4 people in beds and 2 on a sofa bed). Space with 4 environments.

Wonderful house built from scratch recently, located in Prainha de Cima (northern part of Pico Island) with stunning views over the canal and the island of São Jorge. Composed of 2 floors with 2 panoramic windows, it can accommodate 4 people, 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room on a sofa bed. It has 2 full bathrooms. It's really worth waking up to see the sunrise!
