An entire bungalow in the middle of the forest with natural pools and waterfalls in the "backyard." That's right! Amor na Floresta is the perfect destination for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the Atlantic Forest, full of natural and cultural riches. With Balinese architecture and decor, the bungalow blends in with nature, surrounded by beaches, rivers, natural pools, waterfalls and trails. In a quilombola and fishing village, it is part of the preservation area of Serra do Mar State Park and Bocaina Park.

The house is not luxurious, but it is cosy. Access is via a 250 m path that starts at the beach and is covered on foot. This path begins with a slight ascent and at the end there is a staircase (55 low steps). Illustrations in the photos. The house is not very high for the village, and the height guarantees the view of the sea. Originally from caiçaras, it was renovated by my parents, with whom I spent a lot of good times there. A number of bird species, hummingbirds, squirrels and beautiful butterflies share this space with us. Our chalet is close to the Itaguá neighborhood, where there are supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, shops and restaurants.
