Excellent base for visiting the Wellington region and accessing the ferries: 3-min drive to the motorway (noise can be heard outside of the building, but it is peaceful and calm inside), 12-min walk to Johnsonville Centre, easy access to Uber, bus and train to city. Feels like home away from home: park in the d/way, great amenities :)

This is a romantic little cottage with a lovely ensuite and kitchenette. Enjoy a comfy Queen sized bed and cotton linens. The cottage has its own garden next to the homestead. Just moments from the end of the Escarpment track/ Te Araroa track and the Pukerua Bay train station making it very easy to get into Wellington cbd (35mins). Our neighbours are felling trees which might be heard during the day hence the lower than usual rates. If your dates are unavailable please ask.

Set within 6 acres of farmland this 1977 caravan with a conservatory is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm eggs from our chickens ready for you on arrival. This space is ideal for 2-4 but can work for 6 people. We’ve found it works well for families as well as adults. However, many budget savvy adult groups love it as they are happy in a smaller space.

Sweet Karehana | Self-contained Unit

Our two bedroom unit is totally self-contained. It adjoins our home but has its own entranceway and is quite private. You will have access to the whole unit – two bedrooms, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. There are also three private deck areas for your use. It's five minutes walk from the beach, ideal for a beach holiday and great for a family (can host up to six people). Enjoy the stroll to Plimmerton Village and the vibe of the cafes. Handy to train.

Unit has a separate entrance, and guests are welcome to share the deck and garden areas set amongst the bushclad hills. Centrally located being a 25-minute walk or less than 10-minute bus ride to the city and Sky Stadium. Bus stop at the gate. Approximately a 10-minute car ride to the ferry terminals.
