The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Escape to a one-of-a kind countryside retreat-an artfully repurposed ostrich barn set on 40 private acres of peaceful, natural beauty. Spend your days exploring & hiking nearby trails or venturing out to mountains and crystal-clear streams or fishing in the private large, stocked pond with a pedal boat for fun. There is also a firepit with firewood included for evening relaxation and good conversation. Back at the barn, unwind in your own saltwater hot tub under the stars.

The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Get away to a romantic cabin hidden deep in the Oachita Mountains! The cabin is located within a few yards of the national forest boundary. Relax on the covered front porch and look at the stars on a clear night. Or, hear the rain on the roof while soaking in the heart shaped hot tub on a stormy night! Either way, you will find a peaceful stay here! From the town of Mena, AR it is about a 15 minute drive to the property.

Boggy Creek Cabin

Come unplug and relax at our cozy little cabin in the woods. The cabin was originally built, by hand, by our family almost 50 years ago. A few years ago, we had the chance to purchase the cabin again, and have fully remodeled it (all of the work was by those original builders!). It has become our rustic getaway with modern conveniences. We hope you love it as much as our family does!
