BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The house from 1913 is located in the idyllic and dreamy Baltic Sea resort of Rerik in a unique location between the Baltic Sea and Salzhaff. It is 200 m to the beach, so you can already smell the sea and hear the seagulls during breakfast on the terrace. The apartment does NOT have a TV and has an open bathroom without a door. If you don't like that, don't book ;-)

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.
