Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Take a dip in the jetted jacuzzi tub w/ a sunset view! A full kitchen awaits your cooking needs! Large private dressing/makeup room is a favorite!

Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars, explore private forest trails, gather around the fire pit,  and enjoy watching our free-range goats, ducks and chickens. note that our home is across the driveway, so you may occasionally see us caring for the animals, but your cabin and outdoor space are all your own and we respect the privacy of all our guests. Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a smart TV (no TV service) that can be used for streaming if you want to use your phone’s hotspot.. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!!
