The Old Smelting works is a building of historical importance. Around 1892 and next to Brunels viaduct, it was a Tin Smelting Works. In recent years it has been converted into four modern apartments but holding on to as much of it’s industrial history as possible. The accommodation has two toilets, one on the ground floor. It is a 10 minute drive to the beaches and also 10 minutes to the centre of Truro, with lots of shops, cafes and quaint streets. An ideal getaway, centrally located to explore Cornwall. Close to hospital for work placements.

Cosy and comfortable South facing miners cottage, in a tucked away spot in a good location for exploring Cornwall. Ideal for either two couples or a family with children, as the single beds in the second bedroom can be joined to make a super king bed. Quiet walks direct from the door and various beaches are just a 10 - 15 minute car journey - with the famous surfing beach of Porthtowan just 10 minutes away. The cottage is just a short stroll from our good village pub.
