An old cozy cottage in a peaceful setting in a small village close to nature, about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi airport. From the large courtyard of this traditional granny's cottage, you can step straight out into the heart of nature. The place is perfect for you who appreciate the peace and beauty of nature. It was spring, summer, fall or winter, experience the magic of Lapland without the rush of the city. In summer, it's the perfect choice to experience the midnight sun and a night without sleep. In the middle of nowhere, but still in the middle of everything!

Cottage and outdoor sauna

A small, charming cottage and a yard sauna in the beautiful landscape of the Tornionjoki river. The cottage has a toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge, a freezer, a stove and a microwave. Two fold-out sofa beds. In the courtyard sauna, you can take atmospheric saunas and plunge into the Tornionjoki River, or in winter you can cool off by rolling in the snow. The bathing water is heated in the sauna pot. The nearby main building also has a sauna and shower, which are freely available. In winter, you can see the northern lights from the cottage yard.

Minimökki + sauna

A wilderness experience in Lapland! Here you can cook food on a fire and relax in a wood-fired sauna. Sauna cottage in a quiet location, about 25 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Located in the yard of another cottage. A view of the forest from the sauna cabin's porch. There is no water line, the water containers are filled when you arrive. Spacious sauna. BBQ house at your disposal (about 50 meters from the cottage). A dry toilet accessed through a canopy. Refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. No hot plate. Linens/towels included.

Mökki kemijoen Törmällä

Stay in the tranquility of the countryside in a cozy cottage with river views. The cottage is small, in good condition and has everything you need. Electric sauna, shower, toilet, stove, dishes, fridge and cooking utensils There is a path to the beach and a rowboat in use. The beach is stone-based and has no jetty, so you must be able to swim if you want to take a dip in the river. The property has just been fitted with an air heat pump that keeps the apartment comfortably cool and brings pleasant warmth in winter.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Cottage by the lake

A cottage by the water, where you can enjoy the summer in many different ways. The two-story log cabin sits on the shore of Lake Lanko. The cottage has a cozy cottage, a fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen corner. Upstairs, beds and great views. Our guests have enjoyed the wood-fired sauna and swimming, tubing, and rowing on the lake. You also have your own shelter on the beach, where you can build a fire in the evening, admire the stunning sunset, and maybe even cook a meal.

Charming log cabin on the shores of the Kemijoki River

Relax by the beautiful Kemijoki River in a log cabin built in 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a grill shed, as well as a terrace. Another sauna, which can be rented separately during the summer, is right on the beach. There is a hot tub and a gazebo with an 8-burner grill next to the sauna. A rowboat is available for residents. Linens and towels are included. In the silence of the countryside, the soul rests!

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights.
