A short walk and you have fantastic views of Øystese, Hardangerfjorden and Folgefonna The apartment is a 20-minute walk (see map) from the city center with shops, museums and swimming opportunities on a beautiful beach. .

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

There you can find most of the groceries, cinema, beach, some restaurants, hairdresser, etc. There are many nice mountain hikes to reach just outside the door. It's a small apartment, so if you are more than two, it can get a little cramped.
