Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Private vacation home in beautiful surroundings!

Relax in a beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports. In addition to the beautiful nature, there is a lot of history to see (their bed within walking distance), and there are the necessary restaurants nearby. The accommodation is a 10-minute drive from Assen and features a private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and beautiful outdoor terrace. The stay is for 1-4 people and does not include breakfast. Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. The cozy living room with rustic style has a 2 x 2 person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 each). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bicycle shed with power connection (charging e-Bike)

Je overnacht in een knus gastenverblijf met een badkamer en keukentje inclusief koelkast en inductiekookplaten. De stilte en het heerlijke bed zullen eraan bijdragen dat je uitgerust aan een nieuwe dag kunt beginnen. Je mag gebruik maken van onze grote natuurtuin achter het huis. Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace). Cozy house for 4 people

Welcome to Donderen, a nice village located in the head of Drenthe. Near the cities of Groningen and Assen (both about 15 to 20 minutes drive), Eelde airport (about 10 minutes drive), the cozy villages of Norg and Zuidlaren, National Park Drentse AA and nature reserve Noordscheveld. Ideal base for cycling and hiking tours.
