The stable house is a (Tiny) cottage, partly built in the old barn. You almost literally sleep in the stables!! The cottage offers privacy and has its own terrace (also covered). Your terrace is adjacent to a meadow where horses can stand. If you wish, you can also bring your own horse and stable it with us (indoors and/or outdoors). Nieuwleusen is located in the Vecht valley with villages such as Dalfsen and Ommen. The city center of Zwolle is a 15-minute drive away, Giethoorn is a half-hour drive away.

Shepherd's Hut, tiny ecohouse near Dwingelderveld

Peace and Quiet. In our atmospheric ecological Shepherd's hut you can enjoy the Ruinen forestry in the front garden and the Dwingelderveld in the backyard is a 10minute bike ride away. Your accommodation has 2 comfortable beds, shower and compost toilet and a kitchenette with fridge. WiFi available. Behind our converted farmhouse is a wonderful, freely located holiday home surrounded by meadows, between Nieuwleusen and Balkbrug. The cottage is equipped with every comfort and the garden offers a lot of privacy. Nearby there are plenty of hiking and biking opportunities, such as the Reestdal, the Ommerschans, the Lemelerberg and the Staphorsterbos. Zwolle with its beautiful city center and museum de Fundatie are easily accessible by 20 minutes by car. The cottage can accomodate 4 people.

3 km away from Hardenberg in the beautiful hamlet "Engeland" is for rent on private property: Het Bakhuus, for B&B and short vacations. Hardenberg is located in the natural Vechtdal of Overijssel and has a lot to offer. In short, the ultimate place to retreat to. Please note: from 1 January, the organic breakfast is not included. This way, accommodation remains affordable despite the VAT increase.

In this area you can walk and cycle, such as "het Reestdal" and "het Staphorsterbos". In the area there are entrepreneurs who sell local products at home. The places Balkbrug and Nieuwleusen are 5 km away with basic facilities. Larger places nearby are Zwolle, Meppel, Dalfsen and Ommen.

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits.
