Nestled on a charming little family farm, our cozy guesthouse offers the perfect blend of rustic comfort and peaceful nature. You can explore Auburn's historic downtown a few minutes away or go on scenic hiking trails in the area, or simply relax and reconnect with nature in a serene setting.

Vineyard Retreat/Private entrance/Unique features

Come and relax at “The Double MK Ranch” overlooking the vineyard of Dono Dal Cielo. Centrally located between I-80 and Hwy 65 and set within Placer County wine trail. We have two spaces (same price) just specify which room you want to stay in. Our Romantic Suite is attached to the Theater Game Room which is EXCLUSIVE to the Suite. Our additional space is a Tiny Home- full kitchen, full bath and a queen Murphy bed. If the Suite is NOT rented the Tiny home renter WILL have access to the Game Room

Sunset House - Pool, Hot Tub, Game Room & Fire Pit

Nestled among tall trees & a peaceful creek, our large home offers a tranquil retreat for friends & family. Enjoy the gated pool w/ waterfalls, stroll the secluded walking trail, and take a creekside hammock nap. Kick back in our comfortable rocking chairs & take in the amazing sunset. As the stars come out, gather around the fire pit & unwind in the private Jacuzzi. You’ll have everything needed for a large group to feel at home; a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and game room with an arcade.

Hilltop Sunset Farmhouse

This beautiful country home has been recently updated. Our property is tucked away at the top of a .7 mile private road, on a 10 acre farm, with amazing views of the valley, hills, city, & breathtaking sunset right from the living room/ kitchen. We are about 15 minutes away from town, so definitely not in the city. Our quaint country home is located on the Placer county wine/ ale trail, near wineries and breweries, 2 miles to Hidden Falls, and close to many of California’s best hiking trails

Spacious Great Room Apartment in the quiet/country Ca. foothills. Can sleep two and is near everything! Has one private bedroom and a large main room with a comfy sofa by a gas fireplace! In the main room, a 65 inch TV, and 43 inch in the cozy bedroom. Located just minutes from Grass Valley/Nevada City and the beautiful downtown Auburn. 15 minutes off HWY 80 and just over an hour to Truckee and Tahoe! Laundry room available, parking at unit, seating area outside.

It is located on a mini farm complete with goats, chickens, dogs and a huge garden that you will have access to and is close to ALL the outdoor activities you can think of including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, hunting and more. We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!

Little River House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.

Take a walk to the Hammock village where 4 hammocks sit among the bamboo forest. The enclosed courtyard has a built in BBQ and seating for all your guests. This home is located nearest to the confluence and so many hiking trails, biking trails, and outdoor spots so unique to the Gold Country.
