Recently installed solar with battery ensures the cottage not only generates surplus power for the grid, but also maens power outages (v rare) are catered for. Only a short stroll away from Oneroa Village, our cottage is a great choice for your stay on Waiheke. Our great location allows for easy access to vineyards, fantastic restaurants, beaches (Oneroa beach - 10mins walk and little Oneroa beach - 5mins walk), shops and bush walks. We are a 5 minute taxi ride away from the ferry terminal or you could catch the bus (10mins journey) to the bus stop, which is located 100m away from the cottage.

Hilltop retreat with epic sea views and birdsong

Get away from it all at this quiet, private haven off the beaten track. Watch the tuis in the Pohutukawa tree and take in panoramic sea views without leaving your duvet. It's a good climb up from the road but the views make it worthwhile. It’s a 10 minute walk down to Rocky Bay beach and Whakanewha forest reserve is right on the doorstep. Buses go to Rocky Bay but a car is recommended for further island excursions
