The mighty Tongariro River with its world famous trout fishing pools is at the end of the road, the Turangi township is a 5 min drive or a beautiful walk past the river and the Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro crossing are only 40mins away.

Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Our cosy Apartment is located Motuoapa where you will wake with the Tuis and be perfectly situated for skiing, hiking the Tongariro crossing, fishing the lake or rivers or shopping in bustling Taupo, only 25 mins by car. The lakefront, a great café and the marina are a scenic 10 minute walk away, 2 minutes by car. The neighbourhood boasts a tennis court, basketball court, reserves and an abundance of native birds.
