The apartment was in the old days an "Ice House", the place you kept ice that you needed to put around the fish before it was loaded on boats and sailed south. This is a very nice and warm apartment with everything you need for a good stay at the end of the sea in Vesterålen.

Velkommen til Farmorhuset i Nykvåg, midt i vakre Vesterålen. Huset er bygd i 1954 og kombinerer nostalgisk 50-tallsstil med dagens bekvemmeligheter for et komfortabelt opphold. Jeg har arvet dette huset av min far, som igjen arvet det av sin mor, og det har derfor vært viktig for meg å bevare husets sjel og historie. Farmorhuset har tre soverom med totalt fire senger, noe som gjør huset perfekt for både små familier og vennegjenger.

Det er også en grei beliggenhet som base for å utforske både Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel og Andøya.
