The apartment is on the ground floor of a brand new building, and is sun facing throughout most of the day. It is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and equipped with all the mod-cons including air conditioning. The street is super central and the perfect spot to feel the local vibe. The apartment accommodates in total 2 people in a comfortable double bedroom. Principe Real is a historic area of Lisbon, and one of its most cosmopolitan neighborhoods - the nearby garden square features traditional terraces that are perfect for a drink in the sun and hosts Saturday morning flea / organic food markets. From here you can walk 5 minutes to the famous Bairro Alto neighborhood and 10 minutes to the Chiado and Baixa areas. At the top of the street you'll also find the Botanical Garden of Lisbon, as well as antiques, clothing and design shops. You will be able to enjoy the whole apartment exclusively throughout your stay. We will always endeavor to reply quickly to all your questions and comments. The apartment is in the historical residential Príncipe Real district. The area is full of supermarkets, tree-shaded cafes, restaurants, antique shops, and art galleries. Nearby museums include the Natural History Museum and the Museum of Chiado. From the apartment you are only a few minutes walking from two of the most picturesque bairros (quarters in Portuguese) in Lisbon: Bairro Alto and Bica. The traditional but trendy Bairro Alto has a renowned lively and vibrant nightlife, and Bica with the Bica funicular and the Santa Catarina Belvedere as its main attractions, is a quarter where you can feel the calmness of daily life of local citizens, as if you were in a little village. The sophisticated and glamorous Chiado district in the city center is also quite near, about 10/15 minutes walking distance. The Tagus river waterfront is also a few minutes walking. The broad Avenida Dom Carlos I, leads down towards the river Tagus, the neighborhood of Santos, and Avenida 24 de Julho both known for being very lively at night with many bars and clubs. Crossing the rail line you will find yourself next to the river and here you can enjoy a promenade or one of the esplanades having a drink while watching the river and the bridge. The area is also well served with public transportation. Two metro stations from two different lines are about 15 minutes walking – Baixa/Chiado station and Rato Station. Buses and trams are running every minute. Tram 28 is a very famous old tram which winds its way through the most picturesque parts of Lisbon, namely the Alfama and Castle area. In Santos, trains take you to out to popular attractions such as Belém, Estoril and Cascais and in Rossio trains take you to the fairy-tale city of Sintra. We always try to make check-in and check-out hours as flexible as possible to accommodate guests' needs but if it is a change over day between guests (i.e. if there are guests leaving and checking-in on the same day) we do need to ensure we have enough time to get the place clean and ready so: - check-in is indicatively set up for 2PM and - check-out is set up for 11AM. As such, upon confirm your reservation we will ask you to send us your flight/ travel details at your earliest convenience so that we can make all the arrangements accordingly. This will also help us track the flight's progress online and adapt as needed. Also, since 2015 Portugal has more strictly enforced a long-standing law requiring anyone providing paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, exit, and identification details of all non-Portuguese nationals who use that accommodation. This law has been brought into force in Portugal and most other EU countries at some point since the gradual implementation of the 1990 Schengen Agreement that aims to stop human trafficking and other illegal practices. In this case, it is specifically Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recent 'Alojamento Local' law in Portugal that has brought this rule into sharper focus. The governing body that monitors the movement of foreigners is SEF ('Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras' or the Immigration and Borders Service), and it is mandatory to provide them the following fields for all guests: - Full Name - Nationality - Date of Birth - Place of Birth - Document Type (passport, ID) - ID/Passport Number - Country of Issue - Check in & Check out date - Country of Residence You can send these details to us in advance and to save time we will prepare the form for your review upon check-in, or we can fill-in the form together upon your arrival.

Bright, Charming and Elegant in the Heart of Lisbon

The amazing and spacious (120 sqm) apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of an entirely renovated traditional Lisbon building, and is sun facing throughout the day. It is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and equipped with all the mod-cons. Open the windows, enjoy the balcony, take a rest on the couch, enjoy the views, use the internet, enjoy a drink or read a book, cook and do everything you like and you normally do in your own home, but in the fantastic city of Lisbon! The apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom, a spacious living and dining room with a study area and a sofa that can be turned into an extra bed; one toilet; a kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, dry machine, microwaves, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher; TV and free wifi throughout the house. It can accommodate up to 5 persons and has all the appliances for long and short stays, with the possibility of one baby bed (please ask for it). Cleaning is made before the arrivals and is included in the price. Beds will be made with fresh linen and we will provide one set of towels per guest. Wander further, via the nearby Metro, just 8 minutes to the historic center. Subway (metro) is the best public transportation to get around in the city. You will find São Sebastião metro station just at the end of the street (4 min walk). São Sebastião is an hub station for red line (direct connection to the airport) and blue line (direct connection to historic center, avenida da liberdade and santa apolonia train station). There are also three buses lines nearby (3 min walk), at Av. de Berna: 716, 726 and 756. If you want to visit Alcantara area or Rua da Junqueira (Tagus riverfront), line 756 will get you there (direction east-west). If you are traveling with a private car, there is a covered car park in front of the building, with a maximum daily rate of 12 euros.

Start the day with a lazy breakfast on the patio at this hip duplex with an open layout. This peaceful hilltop spot in a restored historic villa boasts a light-filled mezzanine bedroom, exposed ceiling beams, and deep skylights for an airy ambiance. Keeping the original architectural layout of the facade, the interior of Duque's Villa was carefully refurbished to maintain the original wooden floors and window coverings, the high ceilings and the impressive staircase, as well as some furniture elements that tell us little secrets about the past. All suites are designed to enjoy a privileged view of the Tagus River and the spacious garden that surrounds the property. With a comfortable seating area, a kitchenette and a private bathroom, each of the suites features an unique and exclusive interior design, which includes typical details but with a modern Portuguese touch. The result is an elegant, distinctive and certainly royal atmosphere that will make you feel like a Duke. All guests have acces to the property's garden, parking, 1st floor balcony and reception area. Usually you will find someone at our reception on working hours, but besides that we are always available for an emergency. If you need help contact us to our mobile number, we never turn it off. This is a residential area very close to the city center, but removed just enough to guarantee a tranquil, village-like feel. This eastern, industrial part of the city sits between Lisbon’s historic heart and Nations Park, constructed for Expo '98. Within a short walk, you can reach the Nacional Tile Museum or the Fado Museum, and typical quarters like Alfama or Graça. You can also opt for the beautiful bicycle path along the river or public transports which are also nearby. This area is getting one of the trendiest places in town (you will not find many tourists here... yet!), and there are a number of different shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby that are worth knowing - we would be happy to make recommendations and can help you book an appointment or reservation on your behalf. A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.
