Se trata de un balneario particular ya que su paisaje oceánico agreste se mezcla con lo rural en un entorno compartido con vacas, ovejas y caballos La iluminación predominante en las casas de la zona se obtiene mediante energía solar por lo que se pueden observar cielos nocturnos limpios y estrellados. . El balneario es accesible en auto y ómnibus (20 minutos de caminata desde la parada/ruta).
