Casa Morriña. House by the river in Ribeira Sacra

Morriña is a recently rehabilitated house (2019) on the bank of the Miño River, where the water “breaks” against the porch of the house. It has two exterior rooms with their own bathroom each and a large living room with fireplace and a large gallery overlooking the river on the top floor, and a kitchen with dining room and toilet, with access to the patio and porch, on the ground floor. Lighting and comforting have been paid to a lot. NOTE: If a single night is booked, it brings an increase of €50.

The house has been restored by the owner using recycled items and woods cut in the forrest. So it has a very artistic touch,and handmade feeling. You are right on the river shore ,surrounded by oak forest and old walking trails. A very peaceful spot. El terreno linda con el rio Verdugo en la que se puede encontrar pozas aptos para el bano .

Coenga Chapel

Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century. The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
