Welcome to us! We rent out a studio with its own entrance and bathroom and free parking space. City center about 3 km. Bus stop approx. 300 m. Grocery store approx. 500 m. Ice hockey hall and handball hall (Storhamar) about 2 km. The studio is just as suitable for you who are studying, as for you who are going to Hamar on other occasions. The studio is equipped with a bed (150 cm) and WiFi. The place has no kitchen, but there is a kettle, fridge and microwave. We have Furuberget as the closest neighbor with nice hiking opportunities.

The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window overlooking Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveller. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøsli's natural surroundings. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the ground floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

Domkirkeodden and the large open spaces along Mjøsa are only a few minutes walk away. The residence has a separate entrance, a private terrace and its own parking spaces. EV charging is available as needed. You will live in a spacious, architect-designed atrium house. The large window surfaces and the distinctive design create bright living spaces, a good sense of space, and privacy.

The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. Husmannsplassen Hanshagan at Nøttestad Søndre farm

From July 2025, we can finally welcome you to Hanshagan – an authentic farmhouse, closely restored in 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has recently been carefully restored: original materials have been preserved, old craft traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life as it was – without sacrificing warmth, hygiene or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forests and Mjøsa.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, one bathroom with 2 showers, garage, laundry room, 2 terraces with one of them as a partial winter garden, open plan kitchen and living room. Charming country house with top facilities and a stunning view of Norways biggest lake, Mjøsa. Calm, dog-friendly area for year-round use, located only 30 min from Oslo Airport. Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing and several playgrounds for kids. The cottage is luxurious and fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €25 per person.

Start of the tour

Simple and peaceful accommodation in scenic surroundings. The cabin's location is on the northern side of Furuberget, and with lots of hiking trails and only 800 meters walk from the beach at Mjøsa, this is a good starting point for trips, relaxation and fun. Walking or cycling along the promenade from Jessnes to Hamar is a great trip of about 8 km, and a great starting point for many nice experiences.

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken on Helgøya

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken is an idyllic little house on Hovelsrud farm on Helgøya with a phenomenal view of Mjøsa. It is a nice house with living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a private garden around the house. Here you can sit on nice evenings and enjoy the view. There is access to the beach at Hovelsrud. There are nice hiking trails in the woods right behind the house.
