My name is Ismael Chansaap. Welcome! Camp Tucan Yaaxbache ' Ecological offers a place to be with nature and get to know my family and how to live in the Lacandones. You can sleep in the dome, the cabins or you can camp in our beautiful spot near the river. We offer delicious home-cooked food for breakfast and dinner, and there are vegetarian options. We can take you on hikes to the jungle, waterfalls and the lost city and lagoons, Bonampak and Yaaxchilan

House in the heart of the Lacandan jungle with unparalleled tranquility surrounded by the river, the sound of the waterfall and its immense trees full of various vegetation, you can enjoy hiking, kayaking, swimming in the river, fishing, appreciate the birds singing at dawn. Excellent place to relax and disconnect from civilization, work , write or just appreciate nature. It is important to know that there is no phone reception but we have Wi-Fi.

A charming eco-friendly cabin is framed by lush tropical foliage, showcasing a thatched roof made from natural materials. Large windows allow soft sunlight to illuminate the space, while vibrant red and green plants create a serene atmosphere around the exterior.

Disconnect within the Jungle and enter in total contact with nature in our Eco Hotel designed and built by Mayas Lacandones with jungle materials, respecting each cycle for the cut of wood and construction. You can do activities such as hiking to waterfalls, Mayan lost cities with Mayaslacandones guides. We will share our ancestral knowledge, just 3 km around, and other activities such as the Bonampack Ruins 13 km away and Yaxchilan 45 km away.

A cozy cabin interior features wooden walls and a sloped ceiling. One spacious bed is placed beside a bunk bed. Each sleeping area is adorned with white bedding and a patterned throw. Soft lighting from wall sconces provides illumination in the inviting space.

In this magical and exclusive place is the Río Lacanjá Camp, where we offer lodging and food services in the middle of a natural environment and surrounded by lush vegetation. The camp has cabins on the riverbank, a restaurant, a visitor centre, a swimming area, handicrafts for sale and an interpretive trail where you will learn more about this fragile ecosystem. All cabins have beds, table, fan, chair, hammock.
