Location!! Waking up to the beautiful St. John river is spectacular. Although on a main road, the cabin is private. When you sit on the deck with your cup of coffee in the morning, all you see is river and trees & hills...and birds-chickadees to eagles. In the late fall through winter and into early spring, we watch the deer cross the river from the river bank to our yard. Breathtaking...relaxing...peaceful. Perfect for snowmobiling & ATV w/trail access , not to mention hiking & star-gazing.

The HodgePodge Lodge

HodgePodge Lodge is a comfortable albeit work in progress after being empty for many years. This home holds a special place in many of our hearts and we are now ready to share it with you. House is located directly off of Maine's iconic Heritage Trail (ITS92) and has beautiful views of the St John River.

My Brother's Place - Allagash

Feed the deer, hit the trails, reel in a big one, and grab some grub! End your night with a beverage by the "fire" and let your vacation commence. We accommodate 6 comfortably, with a couch for a potential 7th. Close to the ITS 92 trail. Approximately 12 miles from Glazier Lake for the best muskie fishing around! Amenities include a full kitchen (including coffee maker), outdoor grill, fresh bedding, towels, wifi and plenty of place to park. Just bring your sense of adventure!

Monk Eco-Chalets - 41

Smell and woody atmosphere included! Designed and built in an eco-responsible way and with respect for nature, the Eco-Chalets can accommodate 1 to 4 people. The new, fully equipped and comfortable chalets are ideal for receiving visitors on a quad, bike, motorcycle, golf and snowmobile getaway in the region, since they are located at the crossroads of trail 35 for snowmobiling and trail 10 for quads. Let yourself be lulled by the sounds of nature in this unique accommodation.

The Loft

This space is warm and cozy during our cold northern Maine winters and air conditioned for those few 90 degree days in July and August. We cater to hunters, fishermen, snowmobilers, and leaf peepers. The mbr has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen and a twin. Guests will have a beautiful view of Portage Lake and surrounding areas. For moose hunters, we are located in zone 2 with a short drive to zones 3,5 and 6. Snowmobilers love the easy access to ITS85 and ITS90.

Chalet À l'Abri du temps - Kamouraska

The Chalet à l'Abri du temps is a peaceful haven where you naturally slow down. Nestled in a peaceful setting, it invites rest, reunions and reconnection with the essentials. A warm place, away from everyday life. In the evening, the gentle sound of the river accompanies sleep. The chalet has no electricity, with drinking water provided in gallons. It is equipped with a dry toilet, everything you need to cook, and a wood stove as the only source of heating.

Located at the confluence of the St John and Allagash rivers , the River's edge in Allagash offers all the comforts of home. The North Maine Woods is minutes away whether you are here to hunt, fish or just enjoy the beauty of the true northern Maine. Hiking trails are a short drive from town in the Deboulie area. For snowmobilers we are located near ITS 92. Unwind at the end of the day with a breathtaking view of the sunset over the St. John Valley.

Located directly on ITS 85 at the Violette intersection, you'll have easy access to miles of snowmobile and ATV trails right from the property (see trail map). Just 5 minutes from downtown Fort Kent, the cabin offers the perfect mix of convenience and adventure. Traveling with a larger group? Hag's House, located on the same property, is also available to rent.
