Timber Haven Chalet

Timber Haven Chalet is a private secluded getaway for family and friends located 4 miles from downtown Lake Placid. Recent renovations of the entire home have made this a wonderful vacation spot. The location is perfect for hikers, cross-country skiers, and minutes from all Olympic venues. The main living area has hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, a gas fireplace upstairs, TV, and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Double slider doors open up to the rustic large deck which boasts a fantastic view of Whiteface Mountain in winter, table with fire feature and a Weber gas grill. There are 2 bedrooms on this level with queen sized beds, dresser, and a custom built cedar lined closet armoire in each bedroom. There is a full bath on this level (updated 2024). The lower level includes a gas fireplace and a Queen Bed with a Roku TV, a full bathroom with tiled shower ans soaking tub (renovated 2024). French Doors on the lower level exit to the backyard. There is a brick patio under the deck which looks out to the backyard firepit. The property has a short pathway leading to the Jackrabbit Trail for winter cross-country skiing and connects to the Craigwood Golf Course. The home is on a 2 acre wooded lot. 4 miles from Downtown Lake Placid 1.9 miles to the Olympic Ski Jumping Complex .4 miles to the Adirondack LOJ Road and excellent high peak hiking 16 miles to Whiteface Mountain Ski Center 2.8 miles to the Mt. Van Hovenberg Olympic Sports Complex Located on the Ironman bike route. Special Rate for Ironman $3000.00/week
