Flower bird beach fence

The flower bird's shore fence offers a place to stay in a peaceful setting in the middle of nature along the Pielisjoki River. The best way to get there is by car, but also by bike or waterway. The barn is located in the yard of the people of the house, but still in privacy. On the wall of Aita, there is a ryijy that reflects the flowering bird, which comes from the old residential house on the farm. The flower bird, or Karelian cuckoo, is known as a symbol of happiness that commonly symbolizes light, warmth, and crop. The flower bird is also a metaphor of love.

Art studio

Art-inspired, conveniently ascetic, little cottage on wheels. The tiny house is decorated with nature-themed art, and the works change from time to time. The cottage's building materials are authentic and eco-inspired, such as a board floor, a full wood panel roof, a welding paper wall, and a wall adorned with old book covers. The surrounding area is a wild old log cabinet courtyard. Even though the road is nearby, there's a romantic birch hole in the view. The accommodation includes a steam in the barrel sauna!

Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. For those interested, the arboretum will be gladly introduced during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 6 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

In Helmi Tupa, you'll spend a rest vacation, work remotely, and keep a base while hiking in Koli's national landscapes, or spend a winter skiing vacation. Helmi Tui has beds for four, a kitchenette with a dishwasher, and cooking utensils. The fireplace oven brings warmth to the evenings, and in the summer it cools the air source heat pump. Book now for summer 2026 immediately. We live on the shore of Haukivesi permanently. Here you can sauna, swim, and also have a peaceful night's sleep, accommodation 2 rooms 13 and 7 m2 heating/cooling, refrigerator, microwave, electric plate, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Dishes and utensils for dining. Beds ready, incl. sheets and towels. You'll have access to a private shower and sink, as well as a compost toilet. Free to use, rowing boat and 2 paddle boards, hot tub/lot €50/vacation.

Cosy Flat in the Countryside, near Joensuu

On a farm just renovated and cosy two bedroom flat with a kitchen-livingroom and a bathroom. In a useful utility room you wash your laundry easily. Towels and linen are included in price likewise final cleaning up. In a nice livingroom you can watch TV and enjoy your meals. In a master bedroom there is a double bed, in a second bedroom two single beds. In both bedrooms you have light out blinds and a ventilation window. A flat has it's own privacy, there is a hall place for your car.

Aitta for accommodation by the lake

A cute little log fence with a 160cm double bed. Next to Höytiäinen beach. We live in the same yard. Outdoor toilet. On the beach, there is a barbecue area and a shared open hut, the price includes 1 bag of firewood. Sheets are included in the price. Also ask for a guided island/fishing trip and equipment, rowing water, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. for rent. Hot tub available for rent on the beach, 40 euros/2 hours. Extra hours 25e/hour. There is no electricity in the barn.

Cozy guesthouse/yard cottage

Stay close to the castle, beach, and downtown services in a quiet, centrally located property that also gives you easy access to urban nature. We stay as a guest of our family, in a separate courtyard building. The guesthouse has a day bed for two and a travel crib, a bathroom, a toilet, a sauna and simple kitchen equipment (no cooking), laundry facilities for an additional fee. Please note that we have two friendly dogs and a rabbit in our home. Welcome!

Close to great cycling routes, local shop 3 km. A perfect place to relax. In the summer, the evening sunsets are enchanting – in the winter, you can see the northern lights. The space can accommodate two people, but we can arrange mattresses for two additional guests.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although a small, stylish sauna is part of our inhabited courtyard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful landscapes here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat and SUP board available. Bring your own linens and towels. However, if needed, linens will be arranged from the home you stay in.
