Haven of peace - the garden studio

The studio is located in Quartier Saint Catherine, the historic centre of the old fishing port of Honfleur. Just a short stroll away from the Vieux Bassin and its many bars and restaurants, it is also well placed for shopping and for visiting the town's museums and galleries. On arrival you pass through the entrance hall of my house to discover the studio tucked away at the end of a courtyard garden. The only sounds you will hear are the singing of the birds at dawn and their early evening chatter. A modern spacious room with high ceilings, it has a private shower room and a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave oven, fridge & ceramic hob for preparing light meals. There is a comfortable king size bed and a sitting area with armchairs, tv and dvd player. A single bed can be added for a third adult or child (at additional cost) and a baby cot is available. Its doors open onto a small private terrace, ideal for taking breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The studio is self catering. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. HONFLEUR AND THE REGION Honfleur has a superb market every Saturday selling seasonal fruIt and vegetables, local cheeses, oysters, country ham and free range poultry. The local beach is a 10 minute walk away and the well known resorts of Trouville and Deauville are 20 minutes by car. The D Day landing beaches, the Mont Saint Michel and Monet's house at Giverny are all within a couple of hour's drive of Honfleur. A few kilometers inland is the lovely, gentle rolling countryside of the 'Pays d'Auge' famous for its cider and Calvados production and for local cheeses such as Livarot, Pont l'Evèque and Camembert.

Idéalement situé pour profiter des sorties nature, canoë kayak, activités enfants, randonnées, des évènements dans notre région (millénaire de la ville de Caen, 30 ans du Pont de Normandie d'Honfleur) des plages, musées du débarquement, situé à partir de 30 mn des plages, villes touristiques aux alentours.

Bienvenue au Kabanon, à 50 mètres du port du Hâble, de son école de voile et de ses restaurants. Epicerie, courts de tennis à moins de 150 mètres par chemin piéton. Vous logez dans un lieu atypique, au pied du sentier des douaniers, et bénéficiez d'une vue sur la mer depuis votre cuisine ou salle de bain. Profitez de la terrasse privative, et du soleil du soir dans la véranda. Le Kabanon est situé sur notre propriété, à quelques pas de la maison. Draps et serviettes de toilettes non fournis

Sleeping up to 5 but is suitable for couples or a family. Maximum 3 work colleagues There is not a television in the accommodation but there is wi-fi This detached accommodation is a converted farm building adjacent to a tradition farmhouse. We are in a small hamlet with direct access to a local footpath with scenic views. Lovely rural location but only 5 mins from the D524/D924 between Vire and Flers To help keep our guests safe we are following an enhanced cleaning routine.
