Small cabin with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here you can experience a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

The cabin is on 2 floors and offers a large living room, kitchen with large dining area, 3 spacious bedrooms (8 - 10 beds) and 2 bathrooms. Cosy cabin with a great view. 200 meters to the nearest beach and 800 meters to a big public beach. Sun from 8 am to 10 pm in the summer. Large terrace on three levels. Kitchen holds a modern standard. Main cabin holds to bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), living room, dining area (with a kitchen sofa that can be made in to a double bed) and kitchen. Second cabin is the bathroom and third cabin is a bedroom. Note: The third cabin is without electricity.

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.
