Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

From this centrally located accommodation, you are in no time at all the important places. For your trips to the beach (about 5 minutes by bike) and across the island, I will provide bicycles. The bus stop is 150 meters away, as is the delicious bakery. Opposite is the farm shop with regional products such as milk, eggs, potatoes, etc. Edeka is 300 meters away. As well as restaurants, cinema and cafes.

From the apartment in the historic captain's village of Keitum on Sylt you can reach the Wadden Sea, a supermarket, many restaurants, bars, playgrounds, small boutiques and shops on foot. Keitum is a beautiful, picturesque village with many thatched houses - just like ours.

Welcome to Amrum! I am very happy to welcome you to this cozy and renovated apartment in the attic of a thatched roof house (Friesenhaus), in which my great-grandfather already lived! The view of the sea and the northern tip are simply wonderful and you immediately know you are on the nature-loving island of Amrum. It is located on the 1st floor.
