At Casa Alang Alang, wake up each day and enjoy a breakfast that’s already been prepared before stepping outside and deciding which of the two pools will be your first swim of the day. The villa was designed by California architect Steve Adams to take advantage of the gorgeous views, with living spaces that can be completely opened to the outdoors. In the great room, a vaulted ceiling adds to the breezy feeling, as do woven sofas and chairs with sophisticated charcoal cushions. Just next to the sitting area, the generous ironwood dining table seats everyone in wicker chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the rest of the space, but a separate walk-in pantry allows for storage and prep work. If the beach views aren’t enough and you need to put your toes in the sand, it’s a 5-minute walk from the villa to Pangas Beach Club and the town center.
