WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

We are surrounded by organic farmland, have a small woodland and access to Forestry Commission pine forest with at least 7 kilometres of walking or cycling paths. The property uses clean energy from our small turbine making it a zero-carbon heated accommodation. We have a electric car charging point for EV owners. We are near the Debatable Lands, Hadrian's Wall, Gretna, Kielder Forest and Carlisle.
