Built in the 1800’s by Barrister John Smith, this historic property is centrally located and only steps away from the lively Main Street of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Cozy shops and restaurants await, along with access to the Samson trail, running along the beautiful East River. Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Set back from a clifftop on the Northumberland Strait, 3 minute walk to beautiful sandy beach. 1900 sq. ft. Cottage has been completely renovated inside with new kitchen, bath, flooring, all furnishings and appliances replaced. 30ft. Front deck has covered and open sections. Stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishwasher, tv /w DVD player, Apple TV, surround sound stereo, full tub and shower. Three bedrooms, sleeps six. Crib available upon request.

Retreat to Equine Solace

Great place to unwind. Separate entrance, bathroom and deck. We are two women living on 85 acres in rural Nova Scotia. We have four horses, chickens, two dogs and two cats. There are beautiful trails to walk through that lead you through forest and open areas, all the way to the back of the property where a stream runs through. It is quiet, peaceful and a great escape from the noise of the city.
