Sit by the fire in the evening & hear the crickets chirp. Relaxing, reading, dreaming & enjoying is in the foreground. In the trailer, there is a comfortable folding bed, a folding table, electricity and a warm oven as well as a stove for coffee or tea. Tiny-life is tested here. Toilet and washing facilities are very close by

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Our cottage is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the Alpine feeling can be particularly well enjoyed from the bench on the forecourt. Inside it is beautifully and cozily furnished, with a tiled stove and wood-burning stove, a cozy living room and a spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

It is quietly located and you can relax well in the garden, by the tiled stove or fireplace. It has free Wi-Fi and is also suitable for home office. Chalet Chnorz is located on top of Oberlaui holiday home residence on a 1070m elevation upon Ennetbühl village with a view to Säntis, Stockberg and Churfirsten mountains and down into two valleys. Further up the valley is the popular Schwägalp from where the cable car goes to Säntis mountain. 5 skiing areas as Wildhaus and Wolzenalp are around at a 15 minutes distance, the hiking and snowshoeing trail to Hinterfallenchopf mountain starts in front of the property.

Quaint duplex apartment in the countryside

Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850 m directly below the Churfirsten, which makes it an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. Lake Walen, which is a ten-minute drive away at the foot of the mountain, offers cool refreshment. You can end the day comfortably by the fire pit and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a regular bus service to Walenstadtberg.
