A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are delighted to offer our Shepherds Hut, situated in an idylic area of natural beauty in rural North Wales. With popular walks including Moel Famau and Loggerheads Country Park which is about a 5 minute walk and has a super cafe. Directly opposite is a wonderful country pub which does amazing food. Mold town is a 5 minute drive away, and has everything you need including a market on a Saturday.

Nestling against Hope mountain & surrounded by trees the apartment feels like a tree house. The garden is visited by many birds. Depending on time of year you will hear woodpeckers, owls and buzzards as well as the general song of smaller birds. Ample off street parking right by the apartment door.
