Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH cooking heater is installed on the first floor, while maintaining the atmosphere of a storehouse with its earthen walls and thick beams. The first and second floors are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation, summer coolness, and winter warmth unique to a storehouse. If you like, you can enjoy coffee made with freshly ground beans. Sister-gawa Onsen and Ibuki Yakuza-Yu are about 15 minutes away by car. We can provide you with a ticket for Sankawa Onsen (cheaper than the regular price). Please contact us about pick-up and drop-off. There are many tourist spots unique to Nagahama, which has often been the stage of history. Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
