Located 2 km above the village of Chalabre where you can find all the amenities of a village of 1000 inhabitants, you will stay in the middle of a property of 75 hectares opposite the Pyrenees chain. The estate also accommodates mountain bikers as well as riders and their mounts.

I fell in love with this little piece of heaven. Magical in winter with the snow covering the cottage, but also in summer. I wanted to offer my guests a more modern atmosphere while preserving the vintage and "natural" aspect of the mountain. You'll feel right at home very quickly. The snow in winter can be intense, but the cottage remains easily accessible (car equipment for snow, mandatory in winter: tire socks/chains/or snow tires🛞)

We welcome you to this apartment on the ground floor of our house, close to all outdoor and mountain activities. Ax Bonascre 25 minutes away, the Beille plateau and its cross-country skiing 25 minutes away, close to Pas de la Case (45 minutes). The cottage is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 750 m, in the heart of Cathar country (Montségur castle 5 minutes away) and close to the Monts d'Olmes ski resort. Many hiking trails are present at the start of the gîte and several mountain lakes are nearby. Carcassonne, Toulouse and Andorra are an hour's drive away.
