A unique and peaceful newly renovated property nestled in the heart of the golden stone region, it's just 10 minutes from Villefranche-sur-Saône and 40 minutes from Lyon. The house was built in the 17th century by a lord of the Order of Malta to establish his own village. A private outdoor area is available for your use, complete with sun loungers, a table, chairs, and a barbecue (please bring your own charcoal)

Ideal for relaxing, exploring the area and tasting local wines. About forty km from Lyon, a city renowned for its gastronomy, its Festival of Lights (early December), its centers of interest: the traboules, miniature and cinema museum, Fourvière Basilica, Lyon-Perrache train station, etc.

Château de Moiré, Beaujolais

Le chateau de Moire was restored to be a family home and feels more like a home than a rental. The walls are decorated with original paintings including many of the surrounding area, renowned for its golden stone. The house lends itself to two or three families sharing however it is a lovely treat to be there by ourselves. Moire is a quiet village and we love guests who come to unwind and appreciate the beautiful views and the character of the house and area.

You will be 15 minutes from Villefranche-sur-Saône, 30 minutes from Lyon and 5 minutes from "Oingt" labeled as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Just 30 km from Lyon on the A89, come and discover our region and our typical villages with their golden stone, such as the famous medieval city of Oint and its artisans. Enjoy a green setting with plenty of opportunities for walks and hikes. If you like old stone buildings, nature and tranquillity, come and recharge your batteries in an authentic and peaceful place.

Golden stone cottage in Beaujolais

Nice cottage, adjoining our main house, located in the heart of Beaujolais in a golden stone village, among the vineyards, with many hikes nearby. Quiet and yet less than 5 minutes' drive to all shops and 30 minutes to Lyon. Easy access (between 15-20 minutes) to Villefranche-sur-Saône, Tarare and l'Arbresle. It has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4/5), a fully equipped open kitchen, the decor is neat and the cottage is comfortable.

A getaway in the Pierres Dorées

Quiet in a green environment, with stunning views, the location is ideal for discovering Beaujolais. Direct departure for walks, wine tastings, come and discover our beautiful villages in Pierres Dorées. We'll be happy to advise you. ⚠️it should be noted that to access the accommodation there is an outdoor metal staircase with steps in calbotis. Avoid if you have knee problems or if your pets don't go down the stairs.
