Hanaby Hideaway - a special place to unwind.

This place is pretty special! A lovingly restored school bus now spends its time nestled amongst gum trees. You'll soak up the warmth of the morning sun, whilst listening to the bird life, and watching sheep, cows and kangaroos in neighbouring paddocks. The privacy and tranquility will allow you make yourselves at home. Whether you’re reading in a hammock, drinking wine watching the sunset, soaking in a spa, playing boardgames, or cooking on the Weber. Not suitable for children or pets.

If a place was an exhale, this would be it. The space was created with slow & sustainable living in mind, giving you space to breathe & time to truly switch off. The Lookout sits in an open paddock, with 360 views of farmland. Take it all in from your bathtub or through huge windows that frame views stretching right over the wilds of Wildwood. Inside is a cocooning embrace; it’s the dreamiest sanctuary for two. Unfortunately our property is not set up to host newborns, infants or toddlers.

Only a 5-minute walk to Cowaramup main street for food, coffee and drinks. *NB, Additional charge of $40/night for 5th guest (fold-away bed and linen to suit a child) *NB, We live in an adjoining property with a child and a dog. The little siren is a self contained studio at the rear of our property. It’s located in a unique little pocket of Margaret River, looking out over Gas bay surf break and the Cape Leeuwin ridge. An adults only ( no babies either sorry), oasis in which to explore the cape, snuggle up & read books or simply spend the night watching stars from your bed. Our bedroom is on a mezzanine level, the bathroom is downstairs, please note that there are multiple stairs on the property.
