A great outdoor seating area that looks out onto natural bush and kangaroos. It's naturally relaxed yet industrial vibe will ensure an enjoyable stay. Guests love our location. A few minutes from town, the beach, warm wineries and restaurants.
What guests are saying:“The location of the house is amazing, a bit outside of town of Dunsborough, but a walkable nice distance for a good stroll, or a short drive for all services. The area is quiet and peaceful. Biking would be ideal as the bike paths in the area are separated from the road and extensive. The house itself is next to the main house, and it is a shed built into a house. The bedroom/ living room/bathroom are fully walled off from the kitchen and shed, but kitchen itself is only visually separated by curtains from the rest of the shed. All is beautifully decorated and fitted, and fully supplied with all necessary amenities. Air conditioning was not necessary during my stay as the house was easily ventilated to stay cool. Wifi worked seamlessly. Communication was easy and efficient, check in and out simple with excellent directions and information about the house was detailed and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay, and would absolutely return for another stay if I return to the area.”
Separate entry into sitting area and king sized bedroom. Beautiful sheets. Lovely bathroom. Quiet street in Old Dunsborough, ten minute walk to beach. Television, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, tea and coffee selection.

She clearly puts a lot of energy and time into making the place extra special, with plenty of added extras, the value for money is astounding. The communication from the get-go was quick and effective. The check-in process was so easy. And wow, the space was much more than we were expecting! Lots of snacks plus fresh fruit, delicious strawberries, fresh milk, cheese and bread. Super clean too, I work in hospitals and Dixie’s place was certainly above the standards of some hospitals, haha. The interior was modern and fitted to a high standard, and the bathroom suite seemed new. The bed was really comfortable with luxury sheets and lots of layers. plus extra blankets, towels and pillows if needed. I especially loved the mattress warmer and electric heaters as it was quite cold. The whole place was really spacious, and I loved watching TV and Netflix from the bed. Overall I would definitely return and will promote Dixie’s place to all my friends for a relaxing break away from the city. Excellent value for money!”
