Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

There are a couple steps up to the house. We offer short term (2 night minimum) to long term leases. The cabin in town will be fully furnished with quality wifi for streaming your favorite movies. NOTE: For Dec-May months, please inquire if you need a shorter stay.
