Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Black Mountain is situated in the foot hills of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges and 6km North of the Kaikoura township. The home is designed for short and long term stays, is very private and enjoys a rural aspect. The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
