Also there is a log cabin available that gives storage space for any bicycles you bring with you. - Behind the chalet there is a private parking. • Hessenheem Our chalet is located on the recreation park Hessenheem in Markelo. The Hessenheem park has, among other things, an outdoor swimming pool + children's pool (which you can use for free), a catering facility “Buuf and Buur”, various playgrounds, bicycle rental, go-kart rental and the unicorn path.

Nature house "Flierhutte"

Located in a beautiful forest, and near the cultural castle town of Diepenheim is a free-standing nature house that sleeps 6 to 8 people and is equipped with all modern conveniences. During summertime you can sit outside at the BBQ on the porch with a drink. In the fall, you can stroll through the woods and fields. During the winter, you can cozily enjoy reading by the woodstove. In spring, you can enjoy the first sunshine and fresh greenery. Throughout the year it is enjoyable here. The birds will whistle you awake and deer walking around will sometimes come right up to near the house.

Maja's Hideaway, deep in private fairytale woods

Maja's Hideaway is set deep in our large private forest. Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. A beautiful, self-built, log cabin, furnished for 2 people. It is located in the Stavasterbos, a small park, near Lochem. The log cabin has one double room with a 1.80 wide bed with 2 duvets. The cottage has a garden of approximately 350 m2. There is a bistro in the park. There are no other general amenities. The cottage is 3 km from the city center and is adjacent to a beautiful forest area. There is a small shed available to store 2 bicycles if necessary.

De vogels die de dag inluiden en de vogels die de nacht inluiden. Je overziet het landschap vanuit een hoger perspectief. Je kijkt even op een andere manier naar de wereld, van bovenaf. In een boom slapen, letterlijk tussen de takken slapen is een onbeschrijfelijke ervaring.

Vacation home De Vijf Heuvels is a lovely place on the edge of the beautiful village of Markelo, within walking distance of the forests, the water of the Schipbeek and the local restaurants. The vacation home has 3 bedrooms with 2 box springs, bunk beds and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has an oven/microwave combination, electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. The house is built sustainably, it is heated with a heat pump and 48 solar panels.
