A fixer-upper. The house is ready now with some ongoing projects. The house is one bedroom on top of a two-car garage so being able to climb steps is a must to enter the living space. The house is located in town. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee and ice cream shop, a consignment shop, an art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend in September. You are free to roam our 33 acres of farmland and forests. It literally is a dream and the air is so fresh. There is a fire pit for nightly fires while you watch for shooting stars. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards for daytime activities on the lake, including swimming.

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Latitudes Tavern Apartment

A premium spot in downtown Alpena. The center of downtown is two blocks down the road at 2nd Avenue and Chisholm St. We are located in a premium spot to find dinner, entertainment, shopping and most importantly nightlife. The space is located above a bar. So...it can be a little noisy for some. But if you are ok with some noise or don't normally turn in until later in the evening, we are for you. Escape to our cozy cabin on the Thunder Bay River, just 15 minutes away from downtown Alpena. It offers 50 feet of water frontage, perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. Whether you're looking to kayak, fish, swim, or simply relax by the water, our cabin has it. In the summer months we do have an additional room in the cabin with a queen size bed and 4 Kayaks for your use.

It has been a labor of love, for our entire family, to update this wonderful 1930's cottage. We hope you appreciate the design, the details and the decor. May your time be reminiscent of a slower paced era while still providing you the modern day comforts you expect. Enjoy finding our hidden fairy doors placed by our granddaughters.
