The house is protected from the north by a rock massif called the Pantheon, where there is a chapel and the ruins of Vranov Castle. Everything can be seen directly from the garden. The space is perfect for a couple, but in a walk-through living room, another guest sleeps on a sofa bed. The original cottage was in a state where we had to decide "to demolish or to preserve"? In the end, the more demanding option won - to preserve the cottage, its features and character and adapt it to family use. We like imperfections and it makes the cottage completely different from new buildings. Children will love the cozy sleeping area under the roof, while adults will love the glazed veranda.

We are located in a picturesque and wild environment of a foothill village in the north of Bohemia. We are quite high, so from the meadow behind the barn we can see the Krkonoše and Jizera Mountains.
