Although there is no beach access, at the end of the road, you can see Lake Erie! The cottage is close to public beach access, the lighthouse and several parks. Approximately 45 minutes to the Miller Ferry Port and 35 minutes to Cedar Point.

The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!

The Farmer's cottage is a cozy one bedroom mid-century farm cottage on 2 acres of land nestled among farm fields and woodlands . It features a queen-sized bed, bath and full custom kitchen along with a smart TV and Wi-Fi. . A park-like yard with a stone fireplace and solar installation awaits. This country property features self contained utilities including a water well, sanitation and electricity. Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens and baked goods from our farm kitchens.

Enjoy lake life at this cozy beach retreat in Vermilion. 6 min drive to Main Street Beach and 3 min to Showse Park with lots of sporting opportunities or a tasty picnic. We are located about 25 min from Sports Force Parks , Kalahari, great Wolfe Lodge & Cedar Point in Sandusky. Attached garage and parking for 1 additional vehicle. Internet TV and Wi-Fi. 2nd living room with TV has a daybed with trundle to sleep 2 people. Access this extra space through bedroom #2.

We just purchased this amazing property in March 2024. It is conveniently located 35 minutes from both Cedar Point and Cleveland. Beautiful Lakeview Beach is 12 minutes away. You will be staying in the adorable, second floor studio apartment with a private porch and entrance. The property features 1.4 acres of privacy, a screened in gazebo, a sauna, firepit and tons of parking. We will continue to update the space and the property. We look forward to hosting you!
