On the Hidaard mound, you stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house features a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the lower floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. This beautiful building has been completely restored in 2024/2025. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is situated in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. All the shops, restaurants and museums are within walking distance. One of the most beautiful town squares in Friesland, "De Merk," is just a stone's throw away. There is a lot of parking space around the cottage. Even trucks are no problem.

Guesthouse Út fan Hús

The Út fan hús apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is a 15-minute drive, Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together.
