Six acres of private grounds and panoramic Napa and Sonoma views surround this newly built home above Sonoma Square. Its sloping roofline and clerestory windows create a bright, airy backdrop for modern-classic furnishings. Drive 5 miles downhill and you’re at Sonoma Plaza, the largest in California, whose adobe buildings are home to a mix of restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and wineries.

The space
The outdoor pavilion and surrounding area is stunning. There are two L shaped, comfortable sofas which provide plenty of seating. Additionally, there are 4 chaises right in front of the pool. The pavilion provides the perfect amount of shade and sun throughout the day, however there are built in fans and heaters so guests can customize the temperature to their liking. The outdoor kitchen is a dream! The island has a stunning black granite that has a soft leathery feel. The island has 4 bar stools. The island also includes an under-counter fridge, and ice-maker and trash compactors. To the right of the island is a top notch Lynx grill. The dining area seats 12 comfortably. This space is outdoor living at it's best! Dine al fresco, and then sit by the fireplace and play a friendly round of bocce!

Classic modern pieces from Serge Mouille lamps to Finn Juhl armchairs bring a strong sense of style to the open-concept living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and fully equipped kitchen. Cooks and diners alike will appreciate the marble-topped island, double ovens and double dishwashers.

This luxury property has one honeymoon-worthy primary suite with a king bed, en-suite bathroom, fireplace, lounge area, and terrace access. A second bedroom with a king bed shares a hall bathroom with the third bedroom, which has two queen beds and a twin bed—great for a family on holiday with younger children.

While this vacation rental feels secluded, it’s only a 5-mile drive from Sonoma Plaza, where you can shop at the weekly farmers’ market, stroll between shops and galleries, catch a movie at a vintage theater, or set off on a hike through fields full of wildflowers. For wine lovers, there are plenty of tasting rooms in the area and in nearby Glen Ellen; for everyone else, there’s the Sonoma Overlook Trail, Bouverie Wildflower Preserve, and the Sonoma Raceway.
