The space
The sea and tranquility await at Serenus. The Ionian stretches out in front of this luxury vacation rental, perched on a hill on the resort island of Zakynthos. Expansive outdoor living areas and six bedrooms invite you and up to twelve friends or family members to spend lazy days soaking in the island sunshine.

Enjoy the scenery from a terrace with a swimming pool, hot tub, lounging and dining furniture, or join the kids for a jump on the trampoline. Other amenities range from a cable TV and Wi-Fi to a wine fridge, ping-pong table and elevator. Your holiday at the villa begins with an airport transfer and welcome basket, and includes the services of a housekeeper and chef at breakfast and lunch or dinner.

The sunshine also floods the villa’s bright, open living spaces, and large windows frame the same breathtaking sea views. Though stone-wall details echo the rocky hillsides around Serenus, sleek furnishings add modern flair to the living and dining areas. The fully equipped kitchen is both practical and inviting, with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast table.

While a stay at Serenus makes you feel as though you’re alone with the views, the villa is a 10-minute drive or less from the towns of Marathias, Apelati and Keri, where you’ll find shopping, dining and plenty of traditional charm. For beach days, make the short drive to the picturesque shores of Keri Beach or Laganas Beach.
