West Twin Lake Getaway

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home located at the mouth of the canal on West Twin Lake. Beautiful view off the large deck with BBQ grill. Enjoy everything the lake has to offer! Great area for fishing, ice fishing, boating, and kayaking, near the trails for off-roading and snowmobiling. A paddle boat and 4 kayaks are complementary with your stay. Close to downtown Lewiston which offers shopping, restaurants, and events. Close to Garland Golf Course and Tree Tops Ski Resort.

Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. In the evening relax in the cozy living room and enjoy a movie or play one of our many board games. Wake up to a beautiful view of the Mio Airport.

Enjoy reading a book in the screened in porch, or down by the river. You have access to the heated community pool, sand volleyball Court and playground. Spend the day fishing, canoeing or kayaking down the Au Sable river. We are centrally located among some of northern Michigan’s best golf courses including Garland, Treetops and Michaywé.

Cozy Cottage on Five Lakes. Close to the expressway , snowmobile trails and downtown Gaylord. Fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, high speed internet and a smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows or just watch Netflix . Bring your kayaks and your fishing poles - nice deck to watch the sunset. Dogs are welcome for an additional one time fee of $35.00. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.
