We own most of the surrounding property including down to the waterfront you see from the farmhouse. When we decided to buy a cottage, we wanted something that brought us closer to nature, but didn’t want a house on the water. It had to have some rustic elements to it. With its vaulted knotty pine ceilings and walls, and windows looking out at the lake, we instantly fell in love. It doesn’t matter if it’s high summer floating on the lake, or Fall with the beautiful colours, it’s just a special place to be.
