'Cwtyn' - a Cute Country Cottage

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth. It is now an open-plan space,compact and practical, with bathroom, kitchen, log burner,TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoors there is an enclosed space,slate patio,seating,fantastic views and private parking. Rural,peaceful and unique - a great base for exploring Snowdonia,Anglesey and Lleyn.

Set on a family farm, the cabin is a peaceful luxurious retreat with spectacular views of Snowdonia and Cardigan Bay. Cattle graze in open pastures all around. Murmur y Coed translates simply to the murmur of trees and sits in a tranquil spot at the end of a private driveway, the closest property to the forest and beach. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. It's a lovely walk through the woods to Llanddwyn Beach, you may even see some of the famous red squirrels of Newborough Forest. We are dog friendly and have plenty of outdoor space along with direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.

The Wales coastal path is located less than 400 metres from the property and the Lon Eifion Cycle track is less than 2 miles away.

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

This cosy one bedroom cabin , handcrafted from Welsh larch, is nestled in a peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Newborough forest. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.
